Electric Supersport for BMW

ZERO emissions and the dynamics of a powerful Supersport motorcycle don’t sound like two things that might go together, but BMW Motorrad is looking to change that.

The German company has a long tradition in pointing out new ways on two wheels, and in a project created with the Technical University of Munich, has come up wit the experimental eRR, an electric powered supersport motorcycle.

The eRR shows the possibilities of an all-electric drive in a supersport motorcycle, using the S 1000 RR as its base. Simply an experiment at this stage, BMW Motorrad will reveal the technical details of the exciting new bike at a later date.
