Chery will expand its Australian line-up with the arrival of its premium flagship 7-seat TIGGO 8 Pro Max in April. It follows the launch of the 7 Pro at the end of last year and continues the Chinese brand’s local resurgence.
“We are delighted to introduce the TIGGO 8 Pro Max to the Australian market,” Chery Australia managing director Lucas Harris said.
“This modern and innovative 7 seat family SUV expands the Chery range in Australia and is set to deliver a premium motoring experience.”
The Chery TIGGO 8 Pro Max boasts a modern and stylish design that seamlessly blends aesthetics with functionality. Its sleek lines, bold grille, and attention-grabbing LED headlights make a striking first impression.
The spacious and comfortable interior provides a luxurious driving environment, with the new model to be offered in three trim levels. Kicking off the range is the Urban (FWD), with the Elite (FWD) and Ultimate (AWD) rounding out the trio.
All grades will be powered by Chery’s powerful and efficient 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, with an impressive output of 180kW and 375Nm. A smooth and responsive transmission completes the powertrain.
Since its return as a factory effort in 2023, Chery has sold more than 6,000 vehicles in Australia, and the brand roll-out continues with 60 dealers nationally including metro, regional and rural locations.
The TIGGO 8 Pro Max will be backed with a 7-year unlimited kilometre warranty, 7-years capped price servicing, and up to 7-years roadside assistance. Pricing and final specs for the new model will be confirmed closer to the vehicle’s launch.
