Chery confirms pricing, specs and launch date for Tiggo 7

Chery has confirmed the pricing and specs for its incoming Tiggo 7 Pro, with the stylish and well-equipped mid-sized SUV to arrive from $39,990 drive away. It will be offered in three grades – Urban, Elite and Ultimate AWD.

The Tiggo 7 features twin 12.3-inch screens, seat heating, a panoramic sunroof and ambient interior lighting, even in its base model. The Urban also features LED exterior lighting, 18-inch alloys, 18 advanced driver aids and dual zone climate control.

There’s also a wireless phone charger and cord-free Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Sony sound system and GPS satellite navigation. Stepping up to the Elite, at $41,990 drive away, adds a 360-degree camera, power tailgate and an optional black roof.

Suzuki V-STROM 800DE

Auto-folding mirrors, light-up sill covers, a cargo blind and air quality management system with negative ion air freshener, also feature. The Ultimate AWD adds all-wheel drive, 19-inch alloys, and six drive modes (Eco, Sport, Normal, Snow, Mud and Off Road)..

Priced at $45,990 drive away, it also sports red front brake callipers, memory mirrors, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, front seat ventilation and memory for the driver’s seat. All variants are powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

It delivers 137kW of power and 275Nm of torque, and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Chery claims fuel economy of 7.0-litres/100km. The five-seat SUV also provides 626-litres of luggage space, or 1,672-litres with the rear seats folded.

The Tiggo 7 Pro has a diamond-style front grille, and a blue laser front bumper trim. Premium design flourishes include integrated taillights, a bilateral exhaust exit, and a monogrammed rear badge.

Chery’s “Hello Chery” voice-control feature allows drivers to operate key functions, such as making phone calls or changing the music, without having to take their hands off the wheel. Other safety tech includes autonomous emergency braking.

The new Tiggo 7 Pro is backed by a 7-year unlimited kilometre warranty, 7-years capped price servicing and 7-years roadside assistance. Pre-sales for the Chery TIGGO 7 Pro will commence today (20 September).

The first 500 customers who place an order before 20 October 2023 will receive free scheduled servicing for 3-years or 30,000km (whichever comes first). You can find out more on the Chery Motor Australia website.
