Bridgestone partners with Forza for gaming event

Bridgestone and Forza Motorsport are partnering to launch the first-ever “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top” virtual gaming competition, where participants will race the iconic Lamborghini Huracán STO on the game’s virtually created Hakone Grand Prix Circuit.

The collaboration with simulation gaming icon Forza Motorsport is the first of its kind, with Bridgestone becoming the first tyre manufacturer to partner in this latest instalment of the racing sim series.

Running from 20 June to 11 July 2024, eligible racers can compete in the event to unlock an exclusive in-game Bridgestone racing suit and set their fastest time to stand a chance to win attractive prizes worth up to $1,000 (USD).

Within the game, racers will be taking on the virtual Hakone Grand Prix, a simulated motorsports mecca built to host every level of racing. It features a spectacular view of Mount Fuji and is surrounded by the sublime beauty of the Japanese countryside.

Situated on the shores of Lake Ashi, the circuit is a futuristic showcase for flat-out speed with long straights, wide turns, and a few heavy braking zones.

The final Australian and New Zealand winners will be announced based on the fastest lap time recorded from the respective country, along with winners from each participating market in throughout the Asia Pacific region.

“It is an incredible opportunity to connect with a new generation of motorsports enthusiasts and create memorable experiences in motorsport among people of all ages and abilities.”

To participate in “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top”, participants with an active Game Pass subscription and/or who own the Forza Motorsports game can register their interest by visiting: from 20 June 2024 to 11 July 2024.
