Developed in partnership with KTM, and based on the latter’s 1390 Super Duke R Evo, German tuning house BRABUS has unveiled its 1400 R Signature Edition. Limited to just 100 examples, it embodies raw strength and modern elegance, on two wheels.
Featuring Widestar bodywork, including high-grade exposed-structure carbon components and a special “Midnight Veil” body color, the bike’s dynamic front view is emphasized by a BRABUS carbon front fender and mask, with LED headlights and DRLs.
The latter is inspired by BRABUS’ signature stripes, with the bike also adorned with side spoilers, and a carbon fuel tank fairing and belly pan. It’s powered by an LC8 V-Twin engine delivering 140kW and 145Nm.
The strictly limited offering features a special under-seat dual-pipe exhaust, a raised tail and 17-inch Monoblock II Evo ‘Platinum Edition’ wheels. The limited edition hyper naked also features Brembo’s HYPURE four-piston brake system.

The front calipers grip 320mm wave brake discs, while the rear utilizes a twin-piston floating caliper paired with a 240mm wave disc. Intelligent handling is further perfected via adaptive WP APEX semi-active technology suspension.
It features electronically controlled magnetic valves for variable damping. At the touch of a button, the rider can choose from maximum comfort to racetrack-ready, with five dedicated ride modes, including Street, Sport, Rain, Performance and Track.
Each one changes the traction control and throttle response, with the latter two offering significant customisation. A large TFT color display provides clear access to all settings and shows a special BRABUS animation when starting up.
Like many bespoke luxury vehicles with BRABUS badging, the 1400 R boasts premium upholstery. Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfibre feature, with an embossed BRABUS logo in the center of the seat.

Each example is delivered with a tailor-made indoor cover, BRABUS exhibition carpet, and a carbon fibre box for the ignition key. Rough pricing estimates, if you decided to bring one down under, put the bike at somewhere around $74,000 for the machine alone.
