Australia scores ten ultra-exclusive 4C Competizione Limited Edition Alfas

OF the 108 examples of the ultra-exclusive Alfa Romeo 4C Competizione Limited Edition, Australia will get just ten of the super lightweight high performance model, all of which are likely to be snapped up very quickly.

Based on the 4C Coupe, the Limited Edition 4C Competizione is powered by an all-aluminium 177kW, 1750 turbo petrol engine with inter-cooler and continuous twin phase variators, mated to a TCT dual clutch transmission.

Delivering enhanced performance, the 4C Competizione Limited Edition features an Akrapovic titanium central exhaust with dual-mode function and carbon fibre exit surround.

In addition to its sports suspension package which includes a double wishbone front and evolved MacPherson strut rear geometry, the 4C Competizione flaunts a raft of exterior enhancements.

Among them is Vesuvio Matte Grey paint, an exposed carbon fibre roof, carbon fibre rear spoiler and mirror covers, carbon fibre side air intake and a unique bonnet and roof livery that one might best describe as enhanced custom GT stripes.

The 4C Competizione will take you from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, has a lateral acceleration of 1.1g and maximum braking deceleration of 1.25g, and has been handcrafted in Modena, Italy.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Competizione combines the racing and performance know-how of Alfa Romeo engineering with the craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise of Maserati, and is based on the 4C Coupe.

The very best technical and industrial techniques between the two brands were used to develop the 4C Competizione Limited Edition. It shows in things like the aluminium dashboard insert with the 4C Competizione logo adorning it.

It’s complimented by the sophisticated black leather and micro fibre seats, and a leather sport steering wheel with micro fibre insert, both featuring red stitching. Audio performance hasn’t been forgotten either.

The limited edition Alfa Romeo gets an upgraded Alpine premium sound system, with a centrally mounted sub-woofer behind the seats, while an amplifier has been stashed in the passenger footwell.

Priced at $119,900 plus on-roads, this special edition is in dealerships across Australia now.
