Audi adds extra beef to its S performance range
2019 Audi S3, S4 and S5

CUSTOMER feedback is at the heart of a range of significant equipment upgrades across the highly regarded Audi S performance vehicle range, as the German car maker looks to beef up the S3, S4 and S5 models.

Innovative technology and bolder design elements will now come standard across the range, following on from the recent changes to the SQ5 and TTS models, and demonstrating how serious Audi is about improving its vehicles.

Highlights include exterior enhancements such as new Audi Sport alloy wheels, Nappa leather S sports front seats, wireless smartphone charging, and high-end Bang & Olufsen surround sound.

Driver assistance technology has been enhanced with the addition of active lane assist and adaptive cruise control (with stop/go). Individually, the Audi S3 now boasts almost $9000 in upgraded equipment, at no additional cost.

Its slick design is now complemented by larger 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, the S3 gains S sports seats, and auto-folding mirrors with kerb view. Additional technology highlights include Audi magnetic ride and high beam assist.

The Audi S4 gains metallic paint, S sports seats with pneumatic lumbar support and massage function, and the extended upholstery package. Technology enhancements include a head-up display, and two rear USB charging points.

Last but not least, the Audi S5 now features a bolder exterior design aesthetic with larger 20-inch Audi Sport wheels and metallic paint. Inside, the S5 model also gain the head-up display.

As with all Audi vehicles, the S model range is available with pre-paid service plans. The S3 plan costs $1,850 or $2,380 for three or five years respectively, while for the same time frames, the S4/S5 models cost $1,920 or $2,930.

The upgraded Audi S range is available in showrooms now.
