When you’re on a good thing, stick with it. That’s the saying, and it’s true of Argon’s latest Mission 2 glove. It builds on the benchmark set by its first generation and remains the bran’s premium offering.
Designed to work in unison with a range of Argon leather suit products, there’s plenty to like about the new version. Reasonably budget friendly compared to some other bigger names, they do require a little wearing in, especially for the first couple of rides.
That’s no different to most leather products that come straight off the shelf though. They have a real quality feel to them too, and the safety features, including revised TPU knuckle protectors, make for a good first impression.
The Mission 2 offers more protection and ventilation than the original, while still remaining stylish. They feature Argon’s Advance tech fibre lining for improved comfort, adding further capability to this sporty, almost track-focused, glove.

Genuine Knox protection sliders can be found on the goat and kangaroo leather palms, which coincidently are tear resistant and offer improved grip and increased comfort. Accordion panels at the thumb and fingers add extra flexibility.
Quality is excellent, with no fraying in any of the stitching over the time we’ve tested them. The Velcro fastening points operate well and at this point have shown no signs of wear and tear. The Mission 2 are polyester lined and come with 2mm thick padding too.
Available in a range of colours to match the rest of your riding kit, Argon Mission 2 gloves can be had in White/Red, Black/White/Yellow, Stealth (Black), and Black/White (as tested). Sizes range from Small to 3XL in all variants.
Priced from $229.95, the Argon Mission 2 gloves offer good value and are available from all good motorcycle apparel outlets. Like all motorcycle gear, we recommend you try before you buy. They’re backed by a 12-month warranty and are CE-certified.
