Aprilia is expanding its 457 stable, with the learner legal offering to grow with two additional models, a Tuono and an RS GP Replica. The latter will arrive in August and is set to be priced from $13,190 ride away.
The 457 Tuono will land in September, and will be priced from $12,290 ride away. Built on the same as the RS 457, it combines upright ergonomics with minimalist naked styling. It retains the performance, lightweight engineering and advanced tech of the sports bike.
Power comes from Aprilia’s advanced 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 35kW and 43.5Nm, with more than 80 per cent of peak torque available from just 3000rpm. It has a dry weight of just 159kg.
That means the Tuono 457 delivers one of the strongest power-to-weight ratios in Australia’s LAMS segment. True to Aprilia’s racing heritage, it’s the only motorcycle in its class to feature a lightweight aluminium twin-spar frame.
The chassis is complemented by a preload-adjustable 41mm front fork, preload-adjustable shock, ByBre braking components and Bosch dual-channel ABS. The combination delivers precise handling and confidence-inspiring dynamics.

Technology includes a ride-by-wire throttle; three selectable riding modes; three-level adjustable traction control; switchable rear ABS and a full-colour 5.0-inch TFT instrument display, all fitted as standard.
Riders can also add the optional Aprilia MIA multimedia platform, enabling smartphone connectivity, navigation, music and call management via the handlebar controls. Alongside the Tuono 457, the new RS 457 GP Replica is a flagship addition.
Inspired directly by Aprilia Racing’s RS-GP MotoGP machine, the GP Replica features an authentic factory race livery finished in gloss and matte black with official sponsor graphics. It also scores a number of exclusive upgrades.
That includes a bi-directional quick shifter, higher-friction front brake pads, a single-seat cowl, and exclusive black finishes for the aluminium frame, swingarm and upper triple clamp. You can find out more on the Aprilia website for the Tuono 457 and RS 457 GP Replica.
