Amarok Atacama lands in Australia

FACTORY-DEVELOPED and packed with a raft of stylish and practical upgrades, the brand new Amarok Atacama has arrived in Australia.

Expanding on the already impressive equipment levels of the TDI400 4MOTION manual and TDI420 4MOTION automatic models, which include such features as a multi-function display with satellite navigation, and front and rear park distance control, the Amarok Atacama adds unique additional features as standard.

The Amarok Atacama is characterised by its sporty exterior styling, which includes Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime driving lamps, black sports bar and side steps, black rear step bumper, and 18-inch ‘Durban’ black alloy wheels with Bridgestone 255/60 R18 tyres.

To add further practicality to the Amarok’s purposeful design, the Atacama is also equipped with the ‘Durabed’ spray-on tubliner to protect the tray when carrying loads. Inside, the Amarok Atacama continues to offer exclusivity with a unique, new ‘QUAD’ fabric trim with a quilted bolster finish, giving the cabin a touch of premium sophistication.

The Atacama is also comprehensively specified with a raft of standard technologies, including the RNS315 satellite navigation system, dual zone ‘Climatronic’ climate control, automatic headlights and rain-sensing windscreen wipers, front and rear park distance control and a rear-view camera.

To launch this new product, Volkswagen will release 500 of the Amarok Atacama vehicles at the following prices; Amarok TDI400 Atacama (man) $53,990 and Amarok TDI420 Atacama (auto) $56,990.
