WITH the arrival of the much anticipated Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sport, the seductively styled Italian SUV has evolved, bringing start-of-the-art technology features to the award-winning DNA and performance.
Now available in dealerships Australia-wide, the new entry level model is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, producing 147kW and 330Nm. It has near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution.
That’s thanks to Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel-drive technology, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. It’s loaded with safety tech, and has a new driver-focused, redesigned interior too.
With ADAS features as standard, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sport comes with traffic sign recognition with intelligent speed control, lane keep assist, auto high beam, active blind sport assist, and driver attention alert.
An infrared reflective windscreen is joined by active cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, and pedestrian recognition with an integrated brake system, to round out the safety package.
Inside, the new Stelvio Sport features a leather-wrapped gear lever, wireless phone charger and new 8.8-inch multi-touch display. Comfort is further enhanced with premium sports leather seats, heated up front, and a heated leather sports steering wheel.
Aluminium pedals and dashboard insert complete the look. Stylish sporty touchpoints on the exterior include 19-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers, gloss black DLO and side and rear privacy glass.
Starting from $69,450 plus on-roads, the competitive new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sport brings more than 8 per cent added value compared to the Stelvio Base it replaces, with key improvements across comfort, technology and convenience.
