Alfa Romeo’s passion for style, craftsmanship and performance is ingrained in the reinvigorated Alfa Romeo Giulia, which features an intuitive new 8.8-inch infotainment system, with interactive widgets and full-screen maps.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is now also equipped with an array of advanced driver assistance systems, including traffic sign recognition with intelligent speed control, active blind spot assist and driver attention assist.

The traffic sign recognition feature is a state-of-the-art, intelligent speed advisor that alerts drivers to changes in the legal speed limit. When active cruise control is activated, the speed is automatically adjusted via touching steering wheel controls.

The active blind spot assist continuously monitors the rear blind spots on both sides of the vehicle, alerting the driver when attempting to cross into a lane that is already occupied.

The system also delivers steering correction to aid in avoiding collisions. driver attention assist monitors the movements of the vehicle via the multi-touch display program, and encourages drivers to rest when drowsy via signals on the TFT display.

Standard safety specification also includes automatic high beam assist, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking and pedestrian recognition, integrated braking and lane departure warning.

With iconic Alfa Romeo design and genuine Italian craftsmanship, the new entry-level Alfa Romeo Giulia Sport is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol engine producing 147kW and 330Nm.

This endows the Giulia with both performance and efficiency, reaching from 0-100km/h in just 6.6 seconds, with a combined cycle fuel economy of 6.0-litres/100km. Pricing starts at $63,950 (plus on-roads).

The Giulia Sport is generously equipped with Sport leather upholstery, 19-inch alloy wheels, 25W Bi-Xenon headlamps, key-less entry, satellite navigation, dual-zone climate control, rain sensing wipers, rear parking sensors and a dynamic reverse parking camera.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce ups the performance ante, powered by a higher-performance version of the turbo 2.0-litre petrol engine, tuned for 206kW and 400Nm. It accelerates to 100km/h in 5.8 seconds.

Available from $71,450 (plus on-roads), the popular Giulia Veloce adds active suspension, Q2 limited slip rear differential, Veloce body kit with dual exhaust, 35W adaptive Bi-Xenon headlamps, leather stitched dashboard and door trims and ambient interior lighting.

It also scores rear heated seats, 8-Way power driver and front passenger seats (with memory function for the driver), and 4-way lumbar support. Sitting above the Veloce is the range topping and Nurburgring lap record holding Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Packing incredible performance and a class leading power to weight ratio thanks to Alfa Romeo’s lightweight technology and its Ferrari inspired 375kW twin turbo V6 engine, the Quadrifoglio accelerates to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

It has an outstanding top speed of 307km/h. With a perfect 50/50 weight balance, the Giulia Quadrifoglio weighs just 1,585kg, which is best in class for the high performance mid-size sedan segments and contributes to its exceptional performance figures.

The sophisticated sporty design continues inside the vehicle, which has been adorned with performance focused materials including aluminium, carbon fibre, natural leather and Alcantara.

To maximise the driving experience and enhance the saloon’s racing spirit, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is equipped with one-piece aluminium paddle shifters, integrated with the steering column.

For further driver customisation and input, the innovative Alfa DNA drive mode selector is offered on all Giulia models, which modifies the dynamic behaviour of the vehicle according to the driver’s selection.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio offers a Race setting, elevating the performance characteristics of engine power delivery, gear shifts, suspension dynamics and stability program to the next level of driver involvement.

Pricing for the Giulia’s most powerful variant starts at $138,950 (plus on-roads).

Mick is a car fanatic, with petrol pumping through his veins. With a deep love for cars, and what makes them tick, Mick likes things that go fast, very fast. But he also appreciates a Sunday cruise in the Rolls...... who are we kidding, he'd drive the wheels off that too.
