Alfa delivers more power with 5-star Stelvio Ti

THIS has to be the more of everything version of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, because, just quietly, it does have more of everything. More power and torque, more features, more safety, just more.

The stunning new offering in the premium medium SUV segment is the 206kW Stelvio Ti. Sitting atop the Stelvio model lineup, the Ti brings a new level of SUV performance to the Italian marque’s stable.

A true performance SUV, with 400Nm of torque, the Stelvio’s iconic Alfa Romeo design and genuine Italian craftsmanship combine to create a premium offering that truly stands apart from its competitors.

Like all Stelvio models, the Ti (Turismo Internazionale) features a near perfect 50/50 weight distribution, class-leading power and performance and an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering column-mounted aluminium paddle shifters.

The turbocharged and inter-cooled 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 0-100km/h in a spritely 5.7 seconds, while owners of the new Ti variant will also enjoy a DNA drive mode selector, genuine leather interior, and remote start with passive entry.

It also comes with bi-xenon headlamps, dual exhaust, class-exclusive carbon-fibre driveshaft, flat-bottom Formula One-inspired steering wheel, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the innovative Q4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.

The new Stelvio Ti also offers innovative safety and security features and leverages advanced driver-assist features, including full-speed forward collision warnings, and comes loaded with a 10-speaker 400w sound system.

You can jump in one, and zoom off into the sunset for $78,900 (plus on-roads).
