Santa Fast - the SEMA Concept Santa Fe
Santa Fast... 775kW weapon from engineering powerhouse Bisimoto and Hyundai

LEGENDARY engineering company Bisimoto and Korean automotive brand Hyundai have once again partnered for the SEMA show, this time developing a 775kW, rear-drive “Santa-Fast” SUV.

Renowned for their awesome street, show and race vehicles, Bisimoto has turned a humble Santa Fe into a weapon, pumping out the power from a flex-fuel turbocharged, Hyundai-based 3.8L Lambda V6 powerplant.

The proof-of-concept vehicle is the result of exausting hours of work to create the custom rear-drive and six-speed manual transmission conversions to achieve an OEM-like appearance and function, with full boost at 39psi, and a boost-per-gear protocol is used to allow for optimal traction.

The 2016 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas and open to trade and industry only, takes place from November 1 to 4.
