VOLKSWAGEN Australia has announced a new, highly specified Amarok V6 580S, set to be launched next month and offering new special features and equipment, above the already impressive Amarok V6 Ultimate.
The V6 580S is instantly recognisable on the road with a body-coloured molded body colour sports bar, a roof mounted light bar with two 86-watt LED lamps, a premium roll cover, and the option of signature Carbon Steel Grey metallic paint.
You can of course also choose Deep Black Pearl and Candy White. Black exterior door handles also feature, along with 20-inch ‘Talca’ gloss black alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.
Park distance controls front and rear, and a reverse camera, complete the package. Inside, the Amarok V6 580S interior is no-less special with ‘Art Velour’ seat trim and heated front seats.
A black headlining and pillar trims also features, along with Volkswagen’s discover media centre, with App-Connect and Climatronic air conditioning.
The Amarok V6 580S sports a high output 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine, delivering 190kW of power (200kW on overboost) and 580Nm of torque, with the ever popular 4MOTION 4×4 system, and Torsen differential coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The Amarok V6 580S, like all Volkswagen models, is offered with a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty, capped price servicing every calendar year, and the additional option of pre-purchased three or five-year service care packs.
Buyers had better be quick though, as the special Amarok model is limited to 200 units and features never-before-seen styling and equipment, sure to make it the most desirable Amarok yet.
