LDV is set to deliver more power, enhanced tech and a fresh new look for the 2027 T60 ute, with the updated model sharing its engine with the larger Terron 9. It’s considered one of Australia’s most affordable double-cab utes.
Due in showrooms in October, it now features new bodywork from the windscreen forward, including a new fascia. Inside, a redesigned dashboard houses a new 12.8-inch infotainment screen, and 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster.
The gear selector is now located in the redesigned centre console, rather than as a wand on the steering column, while the indicator stalk shifts to the right hand side of the steering column. There are now just two variants, with the MAX being dropped.
The LDV T60 PRO starts at $37,990 (for ABN holders) and $39,989 drive away for private buyers. The LUXE version is $42,990 and $45,253 respectively – with all prices drive away. There are four colours; Blanc White, Metal Black, Concrete Grey and Vivid Red.

Both variants receive a Black Pack as standard, with a black finishes for the grille, bumpers, door handles, roof rails, side steps, and side mirror scalps. The LDV T60 PRO comes with LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels and tyre pressure monitors.
It gets leaf-spring rear suspension, four-wheel-disc brakes, a spray-in bed liner, damped tailgate, foot recesses in the rear bumper, a rear view camera, and rear parking sensors. Inside, is a heated steering wheel and cloth seats.
Automatic transmission ‘paddle’ shifters on the steering wheel, illuminated steering wheel buttons, rear air conditioning vents, and the ability to stow the rear seat upwards to carry larger items inside the cabin, all feature.
The LUXE adds artificial leather seats, heated front pews with electric adjustment, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear differential locks, wider track (or ‘footprint’), and fender flares.

It grabs multi-link rear suspension, a sports bar on the ute tub, lockable tailgate, and tow bar kit (including a 50mm tow ball and wiring harness). This is the third engine update and the second facelift for the LDV T60 in Australia.
The new powertrain includes a 163kW/520Nm single turbo 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel paired to an 8-speed auto with 2WD, 4H and 4L. A 73-litre tank delivers a claimed 8.2-litres/100km in fuel economy.
Ground clearance is 185mm in the PRO and 220mm in the LUXE, with a wading depth of 550mm. The turning circle sits at 12.6m and 12.7m respectively, while kerb weight is 2110kg and 2170kg (the latter when fitted with a tow bar).
Payload is 1040kg (PRO) and 980kg, with GVM at 3150kg and GCM at 6250kg. Braking towing capacity is 3500kg with a tow ball down weight of up to 350kg. The 2027 LDV T60 range is backed by a 7-year or 200,000km warranty.

Safety tech includes lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, driver fatigue monitor, ABS, stability control and hill descent control (4WD mode). There are two ISOFIX and two top tether child seat anchor points.
Importantly, because the 2027 LDV T60 carries over the same rear pick-up bodywork as before, ute tub accessories from the previous model will fit the new model. You can find out more from your local LDV dealership.
