FOR many of Volkswagen’s Caddy driving business customers, their van is more than just a mode of transport. It’s the nerve centre of their operation, an office, storage space and meeting room, all rolled into one, within the urban jungle.
To help those customers for whom that situation is an everyday occurrence, Volkswagen has created a new, limited edition Urban Edition, based on the popular 92 kW/220Nm TSI220 Caddy Maxi Van model.
The Caddy Maxi Van has already proven itself as the workhorse of choice for countless customers, and the Urban Edition builds on that specification with a unique suite of added features.
Limited to just 70 examples, the front-wheel drive van features a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) with sport mode and tip-tronic function. Standard on the limited edition model are rear barn doors, rear parking distance control and a range of safety features.
These include forward collision with city emergency braking and driver fatigue detection. Buyers will also find a 6.3-inch composition media infotainment system with App-Connect functionality.
Unique touches also include 16-inch ‘Bendigo’ alloy wheels, front fog lights with cornering function, and H7 headlamps with separate daytime running lights. Hill-start assist, a multi-collision brake (MCB), and multiple airbags, are also included.
The Caddy Urban Edition is priced from $36,990 drive away. It’s available to purchase now throughout Volkswagen Australia’s national dealer network, which remain open during this extremely challenging time.
