IT has always been Holden’s tough work horse (like the Rodeo before it), but with the unveiling of the 2017 Holden Colorado, it also has a bold new look and a tray load of upgraded high-tech equipment.
The 2017 Colorado retains the same assured off-road capability of its predecessor, but adds impressive on-road refinement and a go-anywhere spirit driven by advanced technology.
Colorado’s technology offering also provides notable safety enhancements, including a new forward facing camera with active safety features such as Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning.
For low speed manoeuvres, drivers are assisted by front and rear park assist on selected vehicles and rear view camera across the range.
Inside you’ll find a slick new interior, including a new Holden MyLink infotainment system equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, delivered through a colour touchscreen housed in the vehicle’s centre stack.
When coupled with Digital (DAB+) radio, embedded satellite navigation and voice recognition, Colorado’s infotainment offering stands second to none and will allow it to challenge market leaders like the Volkswagen Amarok and the Isuzu D-Max.
With a striking new design, range of high-tech features and refined driving manners from Holden’s engineers, the 2017 Colorado will be available at dealers nationwide from 01 September 2016.
